Get Involved with the Western Canada District!

The Western Canada District of Circle K is looking for members to get involved – The WE-CAN District has some committee openings for the Strategic Planning Committee, DCON Planning Committee, and Fall Rally Committee.

The Fall Rally Committee would be responsible to aid the district governor, Ian Martens, and district secretary/treasurer, Louis Bayes, plan a Kiwanis Family Fall Rally to take place in Brandon, Manitoba some time in November. This rally will involve all levels of the Kiwanis Family, including Kiwanis, Key Club, and Circle K. If you are interested, please contact Ian Martens or Louis Bayes.

The Strategic Planning Committee would be responsible to aid the district board in creating a 3-year strategic plan to find out where the Western Canada District would like to be three years from now. Meetings for this committee would be once a month and should not take much time. If you are interested, please contact Ian Martens.

The DCON Planning Committee would be responsible to aid the district board in planning the annual District Convention, to be held in Winnipeg from Sunday, February 15 to Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Meetings for this committee would be once a month and should not take much time. Time commitment may increase slightly as the convention approaches. If you are interested, please contact Louis Bayes
