About Our Club

The University of Manitoba Circle K Volunteer Club The University of Manitoba Circle K Volunteer Club (UMCKI) is an UMSU-recognised student group on the University of Manitoba Fort Garry campus. It is a part of the Western Canada District (WE-CAN), under the banner of Circle K International (CKI). CKI is a self-governed college and university organization with over 11,000 members in 19 countries worldwide. CKI is a youth branch of Kiwanis International.

Our Mission

The mission of CKI is to develop college and university students into responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to community service worldwide. The focus of UMCKI is to aid less-fortunate people in underdeveloped nations around the world, with a concentration of efforts on Africa.

Our Goals

We have three main goals to complete when satisfying our mission: service, fellowship, and leadership. We help organize and participate in various projects and events, such as Books for Africa and Hugs & Hope. We organize a variety of social events to help members bond with each other. As well, we endeavour on allowing members to take charge by taking on numerous tasks to complete our objectives.

Club Sponsorship

The University of Manitoba Circle K Volunteer Club is sponsored in part by the Winnipeg Inc. Kiwanis Club.
